Bancassurance Manager
Reporting to Head-Retail Banking, the incumbent shall plan, manage, lead and direct the Bancassurance business across all the Banks’ touch points, to achieve set business targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing of all insurance products in the Bank (Life & General).
Ensure appropriate Bancassurance Structure.
Develop and execute an overall Business Plan.
Active management of relationships with all insurance partners.
Periodic reporting of Bancassurance financials.
Ensuring Compliance with Local Insurance regulations, policies and procedures.
Manage marketing programmes in line with business objectives (premiums, commissions, product type, number of policies)
Train Marketing Officers on Bancassurance products.
Responsible for all reporting as required by the regulator – TIRA/in-house/ etc.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree holder with relevant insurance certification.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
At least 5-10-year experience in the Insurance Industry of which 3 to 5 years at a Managerial level.
Good understanding of Insurance market in Tanzania and local laws governing Insurance.
Excellent management skills.
Strong commercial acumen, people & project management skills.
